With an Interactive and engaging study of the book AntiRacist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi

Facilitated by San Diego Reggio Roundtable Social Justice Committee

AntiRacist Baby is a children’s book discussing steps early childhood educators can take to help children become active antiracists.  Take your first steps with AntiRacist Baby!  Or rather, follow Antiracist Baby's nine easy steps for building a more equitable world.

AntiRacist Baby:

  • Motivates participants to rethink their behavior and attitude toward others.
  • Allows participants to examine their own bias and focus on how they perceive differences
  • Identifies steps you can take to become an antiracist
  • Empowers teachers, parents, and children to uproot racism in society and in ourselves
